I’ve been making quite a few Christmas cards recently but I tend to use plain colours, such as white on white, that sort of thing, however I wanted to start incorporating some colour into my card making. I also have loads of Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! I always love the papers, but then never actually know how to use it, so i thought i’d start by using just small blocks of colour to ease myself in :-)
I found some brilliant red glitter masking tape at Al Jarir Bookstore (it’s a bookstore, but also sells the odd craft items. UK and American standards, it’s really, really rubbish for craft supplies, but for here, it’s pretty much the best there is – which isn’t saying very much)!! Anyway, I really wanted to use it, so I added a bit of it to the bottom of the card.
I’m really into glitter at the moment. Usually I stay away from it, but just using small bits seems to be working for me at the moment so I also added some little glitter dots to the sky.
