Stampin’ Up! Swaps

A few weeks ago there was a Stampin’ Up! meet-up of the team I’m part of called the Pinkies. I was really looking forward to it as I was in the UK and was so happy that for once I would be able to attend, however unfortunately I ended up being really ill and couldn’t make it.

When you attend these invites, everyone makes swaps to hand to each other, so although I couldn’t attend, I had still made the swaps and posted them off to the people within my group.

In my group we had to use the Bloomin’ Love set which those that follow my blog regularly will know that I really like this set due to the detail.

Price: £31.25

I made some mini cards for my swaps.

imageI co-ordinated the stamp and card using Mint Macaron card and ink and used the Friend stamp and scroll stamp from the bloomin’ love stamp set.

I used a stamp from the Hopeful Thoughts stamp set to add a bit more detail and embossed a bit of glitter on a few of the leaves to give a bit of dimension.

To finish the swaps off, I cut a flower using the thinlet from the Bloomin’ Heart thinlet set and attached a candy dot to the centre of the flower.

Thank you for stopping by  :-)
