Night of Navy, Calypso Coral and Sahara Sand!! What do these colours mean? They mean that today’s challenge from Global Design Project is a colour challenge!
I have to admit, I found this challenge really hard as I don’t tend to use colours like these to make cards.
I used Night of Navy as my card base and Calypso Coral as a boarder to add a bit of bright colour.
To create the hexagon shapes, I used the 6 sided sampler stamp set (this is on the retiring list, so if you like it, you need to get it now before it’s gone forever)! and the co-ordinating punch to punch the shapes out. I used dimensionals on a couple of the hexagons to add a bit of depth and used a mix of whisper white and Sahara Sand card stock for the hexagons. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and was cut out using the Washi tape punch. I finished the card off with a little candy dot.
