I’ve recently made some soapy cupcakes and wanted to make a card to match them so to co-ordinate the soap with the card, I made the base of the card from Blushing Bride cardstock and matching ink.
The stamp set is the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set which thankfully is not retiring and is carrying over into the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue (available in June!!)
I stamped a few different types of the Balloon images onto a mixture of Whisper White and Blushing Bride cardstock using Blushing Bride ink and punched the images out using the co-ordinating balloon punch. I attached the balloons to the card with a bit of snail adhesive and attached one balloon at the front with dimensionals to add a bit of depth.
The card was finished off with a bit of pink thread to ‘tie’ the balloon strands together and a candy dot.
