Hi and welcome to Day 5 of my ‘Back to School’ mini series.
In today’s video I made a holiday countdown calendar for Tommy and decorated it to his style.
As Tommy isn’t one of those children that looks forward to going back to school, I thought I’d make him a calendar that he can use to countdown to holidays, Christmas, anything! I made different images based on different holiday seasons such as a christmas tree and ginger bread man for Christmas, an airplane he can use when we are going off on holiday, and little pumpkin for halloween. You really can make lots of great images that your kids can use.
I used a lot of magnets with this project which I used to hold the numbers up. I made two sets of numbers (1-9) as I only wanted to go up to 99 days, but if you want to go up to a few hundred days, then make sure you make 3 of each number :-)
