Today’s card is for the Global Design Project.
This week was a theme challenge which was ‘Celebrate’
I made today’s card using the Banner Framelit dies which I thought were perfect for the Celebrate Theme.
Instructions:
- Cut a piece of Whisper White 10.5cm x 30 cm and fold in half. This is your base card.
- Cut a piece of Smoky Slate 10 cm x 14.5 cm and glue to base card using snail adhesive.
- Cut Whisper White 9 cm x 13.5 cm and attach to card using snail adhesive.
Tag
- Die cut the third smallest die from the Banner Framelit set onto Smoky Slate.
- Stamp onto Whisper White, the striped banner stamp from Amazing Birthday stamp set (co-ordinates with Banner Framelits) using Smoky Slate Ink.
- Stamp sentiment from the same stamp set onto Whisper White card.

- Using the co-ordinating Banner framelits, cut stamped image/sentiment out.
- Attach banners to each other using snail adhesive.
- Cut a piece of Whisper White 8.5 cm x 13 cm and stamp sentiment using Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set
- Punch a hole in the tag and wrap linen thread round stamped piece of card.
- Thread through banner tag and tie in a bow. – tip – to keep the thread in place, use a glue dot on the back and at the front of the card.
- Finish off with a Candy Dot Brad Base and attach Candy Dot colour of your choice.
- Finally, attach to card base using Dimensionals.
