Well, the cupcakes thankfully turned out fine this evening. I still need to work on my piping as I want to make it so the frosting looks really creamy and fluffy like this: 
So that’s what I’m going to be working on this weekend. I’ve bought from icing sugar so I i’m not wasting soap batter whilst I practice :-)
So here they are: 
The fragrance I used was a non-discolouring fragrance so I was able to fragrance the whole batch rather than just the base, like I normally have to do.
I used Baby Powder fragrance oil from Gracefruit and it smells really nice. So fresh and clean, it’s really lovely. I finished the cupcakes off with some melt and pour balls on top and a sprinkling of purple glitter (not your normal craft glitter, but cosmetic grade glitter that is safe for use on the body).
